As unemployment remains high in the US due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Trump administration has extended the limitations on specific work visas, until the end of 2020. Like the previous proclamation by President Trump, this measure only affects those currently outside of the US trying to get a visa to enter into the country. The affected visas now include “L-1 visas for intracompany transfers, H-1Bs for workers in specialty occupations as well as the H-4 visa for spouses, H-2Bs for temporary non-agricultural workers and most J-1 visas for exchange visitors”.
