In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the state of California 'temporarily banned singing and chanting in places of worship' in an attempt to stop the spread of the virus. Although a pastor in Sacramento believes that this ban 'infringes on religious rights' for those who use singing traditionally in every service.The state has also put other mandatory precautions in places of worship, including a maximum attendance of 25% capacity.
