Los Angeles County’s new District Attorney, George Gascón, has introduced a series of reforms to the county’s legal system. These include getting rid of the death sentence, ending sentencing enhancements, abolishing money bail, reviewing Use of Force cases, and stopping the sentencing of juveniles as adults, along with a change in misdemeanor prosecutions.
